AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Today was the first day this month with high temperatures below normal. ONEONTA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- One person is dead following an explosion and house fire in Oneonta on Saturday, Dec. 10. Get the latest news, weather, sports and more delivered right to your inbox! Around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, the Otsego County 911 Center began receiving multiple calls about an explosion and house fire on Richards Avenue. The Oneonta Fire Department arrived on the scene and saw multiple residences had suffered serious damage, and one of the homes was on fire. Once the was fire was put out, one person was found dead inside one of the homes, the Otsego County Sheriff's Office said. Another person from a neighboring home also received medical attention for minor injuries they suffered during the explosion. Road closures in Albany due to water main break The investigation into the explosion is still ongoing, but the Sheriff's Office says there is no threat to the public. Edgewater police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left one man dead and another hospitalized, officials said.Just after 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to reports of a disturbance in the 2700 block of Ingalls Street, northwest of downtown Denver, according to a Sunday news release from the Edgewater Police Department.When officers arrived at the scene, they were directed to a second-story apartment where they found one man suffering from a gunshot wound and another from head trauma, the news release stated.Paramedics administered medical care at the scene, but the 29-year-old gunshot victim from Edgewater died from his injuries, the release stated. (KRON) – The American Canyon Police Department arrested a 20-year-old man for felony hit-and-run. American Canyon traffic enforcement officers witnessed a vehicle speeding through residential neighborhoods in the rain before crashing into parked cars at over 70 mph. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Sacramento resident Isaiah Ramirez.
