Disturbing cell phone video shows an elderly woman getting stung by hundreds, and perhaps over a thousand bees, outside her home in Murrieta on Wednesday.The situation unfolded around 2 p.m. in the 23000 block of Spring Branch Court.“She staggered to where her car is, and then she fell to the ground,” a neighbor, who only wanted to be identified as Chuck, told KTLA on Thursday. “The bees were relentless. They were attacking her. A bomb squad is investigating a suspicious item discovered in a Burbank neighborhood on Thursday.Burbank Police received a call reporting an unidentified package spotted outside of a home on the 1800 block of Maple Street around 4 p.m.A bomb squad from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene. Detectives with the Burbank Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating additional victims of a 54-year-old man arrested in Dec. 2022 for inappropriate sexual contact with minors, authorities announced Thursday. Artur R. Suslow's arrest came after allegations that his continued sexual crimes dated back more than a decade, according to a BPD news release. The 54-year-old has been charged with two counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts with a child and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14 years old by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. He is currently in the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department where his bail was set at $1.55 million. Suslow is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing in August. Vehicle Collision Between Agate Road and Telephone Canyon Road Kills 57-Year-Old Hesperia ManHESPERIA, CA (June 29, 2023) – Monday evening, Steve L McClune died following a two-vehicle collision on Summit Valley Road.Fire units of the San Bernardino County Fire responded to the crash on May 22nd, at around 6:47 p.m., between Agate Road and Telephone Canyon Road.Upon arrival, fire officials determined that a silver 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander and a white 2019 Chevy Traverse collided near Bandicoot Trail. Reports said both vehicles received significant damages.Following the collision, firefighters declared the Mitsubishi driver dead at the scene. Pedestrian-Auto Collision near Auburn Boulevard Left 82-Year-Old Woman DeadCITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (June 29, 2023) – Tuesday night, a pedestrian accident on Antelope Road left Vira Zheltonozhko with fatal injuries. The deadly collision happened at around 8:20 p.m. along eastbound Antelope Road, between Lauppe Lane and Auburn Boulevard. Responding officers discovered the pedestrian lying on the sidewalk with major injuries. Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the life-saving efforts of the first responders. In addition, multiple utility poles and a traffic light received significant damage from the collision.Police said the driver involved did not sustain any injuries.
