Survival at Masters as Rahm stays close and Woods makes cut AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — No one had an easier time Saturday morning at the Masters than Brooks Koepka. Bruins notes: Nick Foligno latest wounded nearing return Nick Foligno is not quite ready to play big boy hockey just yet. But where he is now compared to where he thought he might be after being injured in Calgary on February 28 had the Bruin veteran thrilled after he finished up another on-ice session on Saturday.“I feel great. I think for me, everyone gets exited, myself included, being out there. It was a pretty significant injury that I had,” said Foligno. “It’s a credit to our medical staff, therapist Scott Waugh, that I’m a little further along than we were probably expecting. There’s no real timetable. It’s just a matter of me feeling as good as I need to feel. When that time comes, we’ll know when I’m ready. It’s hard, because you see me out there skating but I’m still working toward feeling as good as I can for the team when I want to come back and step in. That’s all we’re focused on. As much as I’d like to be out there, and dying to be out there, I’ve got t...

Officer Cottontail? Bunny joins California police force. Fur real. Meet Percy, the police rabbit. Yes, that’s fur real. Some bunny — also known as Officer Ashley Carson — found a lost rabbit last year in the middle of Percy Avenue in Yuba City, California.Carson scurried back to the police station and handed the rabbit over to animal control, who could find neither hide nor hare of the bunny’s family. In a hoppy ending, a police services analyst adopted the allegedly “docile and friendly” animal and named him Percy. The Yuba City Police Department — about 40 hopping miles north of Sacramento — announced the rabbit’s promotion to the rank of “wellness officer” just days before Easter Sunday.“Our wellness program promotes the importance of prioritizing mental and physical health, providing tools and resources to reduce stress and create a positive foundation for well-being,” the department wrote on Facebook Wednesday. “Officer Percy lounges at the police department during the day and is a support animal for all …...

Looking Glass: You’re a cop? Well, what a coincidence; I’m a cop too A man impersonating a police officer, with red and blue flashing lights on his BMW, pulled over a real off-duty female police officer in Rochester Hills, Mich. The real cop identified herself, and asked for his ID which he said he would get from his car. Then he drove off and she followed, catching him in a trailer park switching license plates to another BMW he owned.BUT I THINK OF HER AS VERY HUMAN, OFFICER: Commuters in Melbourne, Australia, anxious to use the multi-passenger traffic lanes during rush hour, have bought so many of a life-like sex doll named Donna — for $5,500 each — that they have completely sold out. Officials have warned against putting “Donna” in their front seats in order to use the high-speed lanes, saying that “passengers must be human.”SO WE HAVE A PRETTY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE: A man demanded cash with a threatening note at a bank in Philadelphia, but he forgot to pull his mask up over his face in full view of the security cameras.OK, OK, WE’RE GO...

More than 226,000 customers still without power in Quebec after ice storm MONTREAL — The pace of power restoration in Quebec was expected to slow down on Saturday, now that hydro crews have dealt with the largest-scale outages caused by this week’s deadly ice storm. As of 1 p.m. ET, just over 226,000 customers were still in the dark three days after freezing rain sent icy branches crashing down onto power lines, streets and cars.“The bulk part of our distribution system has been restored, so now we are doing some work on outages with a smaller amount of customers attached to them. So when we restore an outage, fewer customers regain power,” Maxime Nadeau, director of energy system control for Hydro-Québec told a Saturday morning news conference. “So the rhythm of restoration will be slower.”He said some of the roughly 3,000 remaining outages are in hard-to-access areas or are trickier to resolve, which will also slow the progress.More than a million people were without power at the peak of the outages caused by Wednesday’...
