Two vehicles were seen shooting at each other in the Flemington Road and Varna Drive area, near Allen Road, in North York on Monday night.Police report that at approximately 10:30pm two vehicles seen shooting at each other, a white or silver SUV and a black sedan were involved.The suspect descriptions are currently unknown, but police say evidence of gunfire was located.No injuries were reported. CHICAGO — Residents on the West Side are fighting to return programs to Amundsen Park after the city changed course on plans to use the field house to house migrants.Galewood residents say they worry that cuts to the park hours and programs are precursors to the city converting the park into a migrant shelter.The city moved programs in order to convert the fieldhouse into a shelter, but even though that plan has been put on hold, residents say those programs have not returned. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – It’s a video one south St. Louis County homeowner couldn't believe: a DoorDash driver stealing a package right off her porch while delivering her food. And the driver appeared to look right at the homeowner’s Ring doorbell camera.The video comes from Jennifer Carroll’s Ring doorbell on her front porch near Heege Road. As seen in the video, the DoorDash driver walks up and drops off her food. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A St. Louis County woman said she's had standing water in her apartment for days and doesn't feel safe walking in her own kitchen.Theresa Denson alleges it's not the first time water has overflowed at her apartment at Lucas Hunt Village."This is not livable," Denson said. "This was murky, grainy, grayish, blackish water, and the odor was really, really bad."Denson said it's not a leaky faucet. COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – John Locus is losing sleep dealing with insurance and a police investigation.Early Sunday morning, Collinsville police said a man broke one of the front windows at John Locus Photography on East Main Street.Police say the man got away with a euphonium worth about $40. RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. - A woman is facing serious charges after being accused of stealing an SUV from an auto body shop in Richmond Heights. A mechanic came into contact with the suspect just moments before the theft.Major Craig Mueller, Richmond Heights Police Department, said the woman had been in jail earlier in the day.Octavia Bryant, who is facing charges in other counties, was released from the Richmond Heights Jail and walked some 900 feet down to Telle Tire & Auto. A mechanic there said she asked for a cigarette.She was looking for a ride and found one.Police claim Bryant got her hands on the keys to a 2016 Nissan Rogue and stole the vehicle.The owner of the Rogue was heading to Nashville and had stopped in for a brake check.“This was more of a crime of opportunity," Major Mueller said.
