AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Who's hungry? Schlotzsky’s announced Wednesday its launch of a limited-edition home décor collection, aimed at paying tribute to its first sandwich.The Original sandwich was first created and rolled out on South Congress in 1971. ST. LOUIS - Population data for the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area reveals two consistent trends over the last half-century. People are moving away from the City of St. Louis, but the number of people living in the metro has not dramatically changed. FOX 2 recently compiled Census data for the City of St. Louis, plus every county in the St. Louis metropolitan area, from 1970-2020. As part of the data evaluation process, FOX 2 compiled numbers from 15 counties that Greater St. Louis Inc. lists as part of the region. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Emergency crews responded to a fatal SUV crash at a local Target early Wednesday morning.Our Bommarito Automotive Group SkyFOX helicopter was flying over the Promenade Shopping Center store just off Eager Road, where the SUV was now being towed out of the building. Federal agents head operation on I-270 in St. Louis County The crash hasn't caused any backups near Interstate 64, and so far, the cause of the crash is still unknown. FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo.– The Missouri Highway State Patrol responded to a fatal one-person motorcycle crash Tuesday evening. The crash happened on Oak Grove Church Road on Tuesday, Sept.19, at around 6:20 p.m.Investigators say Michael R. Roberson, 39, was traveling westbound on his 2009 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Custom when he overturned, veering off the left side of the roadway and colliding with a tree. Medical crews pronounced him dead at the scene.MSHP Troop C, which covers much of the St. Louis metro, is investigating the crash.Several downtown RTD rail lines to be interrupted by mainentance starting next week

The RTD rail lines along the downtown loop and Welton Street corridor will be interrupted starting next week as maintenance crews repair a section of rail.The D, H and L lines will be affected by the maintenance, which will be at the intersection of 14th and California streets, according to a news release. The downtown loop and Welton corridor will be closed from Tuesday, Sept. 26 through the following Wednesday, Oct. 4.L Line operations will be suspended for the duration of the closure. Authorities are responding to the scene of a plane crash in Compton Wednesday morning.The aircraft crashed at 159th Street and South Central Avenue at 8:10 a.m., according to Doug Ulibarri with the Downey Fire Department.That location is adjacent to the Compton/Woodley Airport.The single-engine plane, which only had one occupant, hit an automobile, Ulibarri said.The airplane suffered visible damage to its left wing.While only minor injuries were reported and the pilot refused treatment, about 29 gallons of fuel spilled onto the roadway.The cause of the crash has not been disclosed.Nancy Fontan contributed to this report.Dodgers' walk-off win wasn't the best story of the night

Brusdar Graterol never gave up hope that his mother would be able to see him pitch in person in the major leagues.On Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium, it finally happened.Graterol's mother, Ysmalia, was in a suite and saw her son pitch a scoreless eighth inning as Los Angeles rallied for a 3-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers.“It was so incredible. Police and family are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 91-year-old woman who has dementia.Maria Perez was last seen around 3 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of West Century Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.She has dementia and gets lost easily, and her family is concerned for her safety.Perez is described as having light gray/white hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 1 inch tall and weights around 140 pounds.
