Man carjacked at gunpoint outside Piedmont home PIEDMONT — A 52-year-old man was carjacked at gunpoint Saturday afternoon by three suspects who were driving around the city in what turned out to be another carjacked vehicle, police said.The man was not hurt and his vehicle was recovered later in unincorporated Hayward, authorities said. The suspects were still being sought Monday.Authorities said about 1:30 p.m. Saturday, police dispatch received multiple calls from residents regarding a suspicious vehicle in the area of Lexford Road and Huntleigh Road, as well as on Sandringham Place.As officers were looking for the vehicle — a black 2003 Lexus 4-door with paper plates — it was involved in an armed  carjacking in the area of Park Way and Monte Avenue.A 52-year-old resident had his dark gray 2021 BMWX3 taken at gunpoint by a masked suspect outside his home, police said.
