STOCKTON, Calif. (BCN) -- Two separate shootings and another act of violence left four people dead over the weekend in Stockton, police said. A man was found dead Sunday with head injuries at Mormon Slough near Airport Way, police said. Police said homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate the man's death. A double shooting over the weekend happened Saturday evening in the 2100 block of South Airport Way. Two men, ages 29 and 24, were found shot at the scene and were taken to a hospital where they died from their injuries. OAKLAND, Calif. (BCN) -- An Oakland resident died Saturday morning and police are investigating the death as a crime, police said Monday. The slaying occurred just before 8 a.m. in the 200 block of Vernon Street near Whole Foods Market in the Adams Point neighborhood. Runaway Alameda County boy missing since Wednesday Officers responded to a disturbance and when they arrived, they found the resident with multiple cuts, according to police. The victim died at the scene, police said. A fire also occurred where the resident died. Fire officials said Monday that crews responded to a structure fire and the fire was out when they got there. MENLO PARK, Calif. (KRON) -- Meta will lay off thousands of employees in the near future, according to a report from Bloomberg on Monday night. Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, terminated more than 11,000 employees in its first round of layoffs in November.According to Bloomberg, Meta has seen its advertising revenue slow down, and some in leadership roles were asked to make lists of employees that can be let go. Some of the rarest Disney artifacts and park memorabilia will head to auction for the first time. GILROY, Calif. (KRON) -- Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a man in Gilroy on Monday morning, according to the Gilroy Police Department. UPDATE: Phillips has been found. CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. (KRON) -- A runaway boy was reported missing by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office on Monday. Django "DJ" Phillips, 15, has not been seen since Wednesday night. Phillips was last seen leaving Josh Place in Castro Valley at 11:00 p.m. on March 1. Josh Place is sandwiched in between Redwood Road and Santa Maria Avenue, just south of Castro Valley High School. SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) -- The United States Air Force is working with the Santa Clara County coroner's office to investigate the death of an Air Force airman. Tech. Sgt Paul Sugarman, 22nd Airlift Squadron loadmaster and noncommissioned officer in charge of plans, died Sunday in San Jose, according to a news release from Travis Air Force Base. San Jose bombing suspect had previous domestic violence charges Sugarman was a native of San Jose and enlisted in the Air Force in September 2013, according to the release. SALINAS, Calif., (KRON) -- Six suspects were arrested after allegedly burglarizing a dispensary in Salinas and leading police on a chase all the way to the East Bay early Saturday morning, according to a statement from the Salinas Police Department. Police say seven vehicles were at the scene when police arrived, and suspects proceeded to flee the area. Officers followed three vehicles: two were heading south on US -101 and another was heading north.Police followed the northbound suspect vehicle through San Jose, up to Interstate 880 northbound and ultimately ended in the Oakland area. SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) -- The Sonoma County District's Attorney's Office has filed charges against the suspect in a stabbing at Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa last week that left one student dead and another injured. The suspect was identified as a 15-year-old freshman at the school. Los Gatos ‘Party Mom’ attacked in jail by 5 inmates, court records reveal KRON4 is not releasing the boy's name because he is a minor. He has been charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter with enhancement for use of a knife, and one count of bringing a knife onto school grounds.
