SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Music Haven concert series has announced its 2023 lineup. The performances will take place within Central Park in Schenectady starting in July. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Thursday at 11:30 a.m., Gov. Kathy Hochul held a press conference regarding the current air quality in New York State at the University at Albany. Hochul emphasized this is an unprecedented event, with the majority of the state experiencing unhealthy air quality. Hochul asked that people stay indoors, and suggested that schools continue to suspend outdoor activities for students. CLAYTON, Mo. – A St. Louis County jury convicted a Spanish Lake man on Wednesday for beating his neighbor to death in 2019.Michael Shaw was found dead on April 20, 2019, inside his home in the 900 block of Burgos Street. He was 63. Shaw's car, along with cash and credit cards, were missing.Days later, homicide detectives determined Shaw was killed by his neighbor, Keith Hill, and arrested Hill. Revisting Mike Shildt’s comments on his Cardinals departure The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Hill with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and two counts of armed criminal action.At trial, prosecutors said Hill forced his way into Shaw’s home and beat him to death with a lamp, all because Shaw refused to give Hill some money.Jurors convicted Shaw, 36, on all charges. Detroit — A gas station clerk was arraigned Thursday in connection with the fatal shooting of Detroit man after a dispute over beef jerky Monday in southwest Detroit, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office announced.Moad Mohamed Al-Gaham, 40, of Detroit was arraigned in the city’s 36th District Court on charges of first-degree premeditated murder and felony firearm, Prosecutor Kym Worthy said during a press conference Thursday.
