With three games to play, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders isn’t focusing on the fact that his team has lost three straight games and five out of six.“My life is positive,” Sanders said Tuesday during his weekly news conference. “You’ve got to understand I don’t dwell on yesterday. Losses are hard to flush tremendously for me, though, because I’m a bonafide winner.“I’m a natural fixer and I want to fix things. I want to make things work. I want to make things right. I want our fans to be pleased. I want our AD to be ecstatic and I want our kids to all go pro and be successful in some form or fashion and that includes winning.”As a fixer, Sanders has work to do with the Buffs (4-5, 1-5 Pac-12), who will host No. 23 Arizona (6-3, 4-2) on Saturday (noon, Pac-12 Network).First on his agenda this week, though, was to point out the good when he met with players.“Sometimes when you’re losing like we’re losing, you’ve got to find positives to energize the staff, to energize the young men t...New theory emerges in Alan Ruck's Hollywood pizza shop crash

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Mississippians endured long lines and some polling places ran out of ballots Tuesday as the state decided a hard-fought governor’s race between Republican incumbent Tate Reeves and Democratic challenger Brandon Presley. A judge ordered polls in the largest county to remain open an extra hour, to 8 p.m. CST, after both political parties and a nonpartisan group, Mississippi Votes, petitioned for the additional voting time in Hinds County because of the ballot problems in some Jackson suburbs. More ballots were being provided to the locations.Credell Calhoun, a Hinds County supervisor, said he had heard of at least seven precincts that ran out of ballots. TUSTIN, Calif. (AP) — A raging fire Tuesday destroyed a massive World War II-era wooden hangar that was built to house military blimps based in Southern California, and authorities said the blaze could burn for days. The Orange County Fire Authority said in a social media post that allowing the structure to collapse was the only way to fight the inferno, which was reported around 1 a.m. The cause was under investigation. The agency released video of flames racing along the curved roof, which fell apart in sections. A huge plume of dark smoke was visible for miles around. “Due to the dynamic nature of the fire, and the imminent danger of collapse, we have determined the most operationally sound method is to allow the structure to collapse, at which point ground crews can move in closer, and aggressively work to extinguish the fire,” the Fire Authority said.Fire Chief Brian Fennessy said no injuries were reported. The fire smoldered into the evening. The historic hangar was one of two ...A man with a rifle is arrested in a park near the US Capitol
