Without Greg Dulcich, Broncos TE group must find ways besides catching passes to continue making an impact Sean Payton had big plans for second-year tight end Greg Dulcich this fall. The Broncos head coach talked in the offseason about the “vision” to use Dulcich, a 2022 third-round pick, as a versatile offensive weapon. One capable of stretching opposing defenses vertically and making big plays in the passing game.Dulcich, particularly after Denver waived Albert Okwuegbunam at the roster cutdown deadline in August, had a different skill set than Denver’s other tight ends. It’s showed over the course of missing most of the season due to recurring hamstring injuries.Dulcich caught two passes in the season opener against Las Vegas before hurting his hamstring, missed four games and then returned to play 11 snaps against Kansas City last week before reinjuring the muscle. The route he came up limping on, a deep over, is exactly the kind of production Denver simply doesn’t get from the trio of Adam Trautman, Chris Manhertz and Nate Adkins.“Obviously, Greg brings an aspect of speed and stretchin...

San Bernardino City Council meeting derailed by racist slurs from caller Shock and confusion unfolded during San Bernardino's City Council meeting Wednesday night when a woman addressing the council was subjected to racist slurs by a remote caller. It appeared to be a typical meeting, with people voicing their opinions on an agenda item. Several individuals, including Amy Malone, expressed their disapproval of the city's new manager, Charles Montoya, being voted in following allegations of misconduct in his previous positions."I have nothing against this man; I wish he'd get a second chance somewhere else," Malone said. "Obviously, when you look at his track record, you would not hire him for your own personal business."However, the situation quickly took a turn when Malone was interrupted by what seemed to be at least two men hurling racist insults on a Zoom microphone."Somebody shut this **** up. Go home, you… b***. Go back to Africa if you don't like it," the voices could be heard saying."It took me aback; I was angry, I was scared. I didn't know if I ...

Orange County school board rejects transgender notification proposal The Capistrano Unified School District, Orange County's largest, has rejected a parental notification policy that critics say could have led to students being "outed" as transgender to their families.Unlike those enacted by Orange, Chino Valley, Murrieta Valley, Temecula Valley, Placentia Yorba-Linda and other districts, Capistrano's proposal did not specifically mention gender identity.Instead, it would have required schools to notify families if a student was "exhibiting symptoms of depression, anxiety, a dramatic shift in academic performance, social withdrawal or other significant changes affecting a student’s well-being."When pressed on the issue during Wednesday night’s school board meeting, Trustee Lisa Davis, who proposed the policy, acknowledged that it could be applied to gender identity, the Orange County Register reported. What the data showed, according to prosecutors, were the movements of a fentanyl dealer who was later busted with six pound of various drugs and more than $58,000 in cash.Carcamo, an Oakland resident, is now in Santa Rita Jail facing federal drug distribution charges. He was arrested Oct. 10 and remains in custody while the charges are pending. The case against him might have started with a small-scale drug deal, but the GPS data showed Carcamo was making trips to the Tenderloin from Oakland “almost every evening,” a federal investigator said in court papers. He later reportedly told authorities he had been selling drugs there for eight months and made $1,000 per week, according to the criminal complaint.Car...
