DENVER (KDVR) -- One person was taken to a hospital after a shooting with Denver police at 47th Avenue and York Street Thursday afternoon. According to DPD, a suspect was transported from the scene with unknown injuries.Denver police tell FOX31 officers were responding to a weapons-related call just after 2:30 p.m. when the incident occurred.Police vehicles can be seen on Josephine Street from a highway traffic camera over Interstate 70. The caller told police that his mother, later identified as 62-year-old Elena Vonfeldt, was scheduled to arrive at the apartment complex for a housekeeping job at 7 a.m. However, she failed to show up to her other appointments later in the day.When Aurora police arrived at the scene, they found Vonfeldt's car still parked at the complex. A South Florida dentist has lost his job after a video surfaced online showing him ripping down flyers about kidnapped Israelis.The cellphone video shows two men taking down and trashing several flyers in Miami’s Brickell section.
