Freeway shooting on I-880 in Hayward being investigated, no injuries

(KRON) -- There was a non-injury freeway shooting on Interstate 880 in Hayward on Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers with the CHP Hayward Area officer were advised of the shooting, which occurred south of State Route 84, at around 4:46 p.m. Police seek public’s help in locating missing Saratoga teen At the scene, officers located three victims, none of whom sustained injuries in the shooting. The CHP Hayward Area is investigating the shooting, along with assistance from the Golden Gate Investigative Services Unit.No suspect has yet been identified, according to the CHP.This is a developing story. PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin has opened preseason camp without tight ends Clay Cundiff and Jack Eschenbach, who both left the team during the offseason.Neither player appeared on Wisconsin’s roster as the Badgers held their first workout Wednesday at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.Cundiff suffered major injuries each of the last two seasons. He dislocated an ankle, broke his fibula and tore the deltoid ligament in his right leg in a 2021 victory over Iowa. DENVER (KDVR) — Wednesday morning, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston gave an update on the ongoing efforts to tackle homelessness in the city.Shortly after 10:15 a.m., Johnston spoke at the Denver City and County Building. The mayor’s goal is to help 1,000 people find shelter or housing by the end of 2023.Johnston said his administration conducted its first sweep of a homeless encampment this week. D.C. Metro Police say there is no active shooter at the Senate office buildings and no injuries. "A call came in for an active shooter. It appears to be a bad call. DENVER (KDVR) -- Multiple vehicles were involved in a crash on Interstate 70 in Jefferson County, the sheriff's office said. The driver who allegedly caused the crash was coming from Denver and has been taken into custody, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said in a tweet. The Denver Police Department said the suspect was allegedly involved in a carjacking at Colfax Avenue and Race Street. When officers attempted to stop him, he took off. A pursuit began and led to the crash. COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (KDVR) — Suncor is being sent back to the drawing board in regard to its Environmental Protection Agency operating permits. In the last few years, Suncor has had a number of troubles from a fire and a flood to reports of high levels of acid gas flaring and tail gas incidents. The EPA issued an order responding to two public petitions objecting to the renewal of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Clean Air Act Title V operating permit for Plant 2.
