Officers searching for missing juvenile allegedly taken by grandmother

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Austin Police are searching for a missing juvenile believed to have been taken by his grandmother without his consent, a release from the department says.Adrian Patlan's grandmother, Tarra Ann Wright, is believed to have taken him, according to APD, and he was last known to be in the 7900 block of Running Water Drive. The area is in southeast Austin, which is east of Bluff Springs.Patlan is described as being 5'3", 178 lbs., and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jogging pants and black Crocs. Police say Wright is driving a 2009 black Porsche Cayenne SUV with Texas License Plate SLK3921. Hope Adebayo scored on a 16-yard run in the extra period as the University of St. Thomas survived its first overtime game in 13 seasons with a 20-14 victory over San Diego in a Pioneer Football League game Saturday in San Diego, Calif.Adebayo, a former Simley High School star from Inver Grove Heights, finished with 85 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Tommies (7-3, 6-1). ST. LOUIS - Veterans Day is a time to honor the dedication, sacrifices, and contributions of those who have served in the military. There were many celebrations to honor local veterans Saturday in the St. Louis area. One of the biggest draws in St. Louis was the 40th Annual Veterans Day Parade in Downtown St. Louis. The festivities started at the corner of 18th and Olive streets. During the event, the Missouri National Guard inducted four individuals into its hall of fame. Among those heroes: Chief Warrant Officer Paula Prosser, who graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1974, and recently reached 40 years of military service. Brigadier General Harvey C. Clark, who was born in Bates County in 1869, and organized the sixth Missouri volunteer infantry during the Spanish-American war. HAZELWOOD, Mo. - A house in Hazelwood suffered significant damage after a fire Saturday morning. The fire damaged a home in the 7300 block of Cartwheel Lane. burning the home to the ground. It's unclear what led up to the fire. No injuries were reported from the blaze. In San Jose the United Veterans Council of Santa Clara County held the city’s annual Veterans Day Parade.
