QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Last week, O'Toole's Restaurant and Pub lost a rug - and gained a superhero. In a post by the restaurant on Facebook, a visitor was dubbed "O'Toole's Man." Last week, O'Toole's made a post calling for information on two customers who came in for lunch, and left carrying one of several rugs bearing the business logo inside the restaurant. When employees noticed a rug was missing, it didn't take long to find the culprits on security footage."It was kind of funny - one guy walked out wearing the rug like a cape, so I called him 'O'Toole's Man,'" said O'Toole's co-owner Michael Prestidge. "I was trying to be lighthearted about it, but I really wanted that carpet back."A few days later, the restaurant has the rug back - along with an unexpected bonus. SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Calling all wing lovers! On October 7, bring your appetite to the 10th Annual Wing Walk presented by the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! At 10 a.m., attendees can begin to pick up the official Wing Walk map/ballot at Proctors. The event officially kicks off at noon, when participants can begin strolling around Downtown Schenectady. There is one wing sample per restaurant. Participants can get their maps/ballots stamped at each restaurant. Once you sample at least ten wings, you can vote your favorite by marking it on the map/ballot and dropping it at a drop-box location.The event ends at 5 p.m. Tickets cost $20 and will go on sale on Tuesday, September 12, through Proctors. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Canadian man has been arrested for allegedly traveling to Albany in an attempt to meet a child for sex, according to the United States Attorney's Office. Alexander MacFayden, 37, faces up to life in prison if convicted. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The investigation conducted by the FBI, state police and local police departments determined that MacFayden allegedly engaged in a series of online conversations earlier this year with a person whom he believed would allow him to have sexual contact with a 10-year-old relative. On August 25, MacFayden drove from the Toronto area to Albany to reportedly meet the child, and was arrested in Colonie that night. MacFayden later admitted to police that he drove to Albany with the intent of engaging in sexual contact with the minor. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A St. Louis County police officer shot a man following an attempted carjacking late Monday morning at a north county strip mall.The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of Parker Road, just off Lewis and Clark Boulevard.Police claim the suspect approached a woman in the parking lot and attempted to steal her car. He was able to take her keys, but she was able to stop him from stealing the vehicle, and the suspect walked away from the woman.Police later saw the suspect near the intersection of Parker Road and Partridge Run. When police approached, the suspect fired shots at an officer, striking his police cruiser. The officer returned fire, striking the suspect with a bullet.While waiting for an ambulance, the officer gave the suspect medical aid. The suspect has been taken to the hospital for treatment. ST. LOUIS - A St. Louis man appeared at the Carnahan Courthouse on Monday and admitted to sexually assaulting two girls he met online. According to the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office, Adrian Neal, 20, pleaded guilty to statutory rape, two counts of statutory sodomy, kidnapping, and child molestation. He entered the guilty plea just days before the scheduled start of his trial.Neal had been charged last year. Prosecutors said Neal met the victims, both 12 years old, on the social media app SnapChat in August 2021. A Colorado man has been charged in federal court with cyberstalking his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend in Hawaii while repeatedly posing as a different ex-boyfriend, federal prosecutors said Monday.John B. Hart, 53, of Louisville, who previously lived in Hawaii, was arrested Friday in Colorado.Hart was temporarily represented by a lawyer from the federal defender’s office when he appeared in court after his arrest.
